In our series where we meet the county's wood entrepreneurs, the next stop is Gargnäs – where André Emilsson is building Drakki, a new furniture brand with roots in the family-owned carpentry business.
Drakki creates modular premium furniture in pine from the local area. The customer designs the solution online – the craftsmanship takes place in Gargnäs. The result is personalized furniture with a distinctly Northern expression and colors that dare to take up space.
The idea grew after many years of broad assignments at Gargnäs Snickeri. Today, Drakki is a new direction, but still deeply rooted in the place, the raw materials and the craftsmanship.
This is furniture that shouldn't blend in – but rather belong.
