Here, Johan Grönlund runs the company Metal Wood Design, where he combines wood and metal in special solutions that few others offer.
Johan is a fourth generation carpenter, working in the same premises where both his grandfather and father once worked. After a few years in the industry, he took the step to start his own business – with the ambition to create something personal, sustainable and unique. Everything from furniture and interior design to special joinery and problem solving is tailor-made in the workshop in Åsele.
Metal Wood Design is based on a clear idea: to let imagination, function and material meet – with wood as the obvious core.
